Step 1: Investigation
Developing the JOKR app presented challenges in managing
logistics and operations effectively. Optimizing delivery
routes, coordinating inventory management with local stores,
and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs were complex tasks.
Additionally, integrating with various inventory systems and
synchronizing real-time product availability posed significant
challenges. However, with meticulous planning and robust
backend systems, we successfully overcame these hurdles to
create a streamlined and efficient on-demand delivery app
experience for JOKR users.
Step 2: Planning
Recognizing the unique requirements of the JOKR app, we
proposed a comprehensive solution by offering to develop the
app from scratch. By starting the development process from the
ground up, we had the opportunity to tailor every aspect of

Step 3: Design
In the development of the JOKR app, we relied on Figma as our
primary design tool. Figma provided us with a powerful
platform to collaborate, iterate, and create visually stunning
designs. Its cloud-based nature allowed our team to work

revisions. By leveraging Figma's robust features and
intuitive interface, we crafted the user interface,
interactive prototypes, and visual assets that formed the

Step 4: Development and testing
To develop the JOKR app with robust geo-location capabilities,
we implemented a comprehensive tech stack. For cross-platform
app development, we utilized Flutter, enabling us to build a
single codebase for both iOS and Android platforms. The
backend was powered by Node.js and Express.js, ensuring a
scalable and efficient server environment. As for geo-location
integration, we leveraged the Google Maps API, harnessing its
mapping services, geocoding functionality, and real-time
tracking features. MongoDB served as our NoSQL database,
offering flexibility and scalability for data storage. This
comprehensive tech stack enabled us to deliver a seamless and
user-friendly on-demand delivery app experience for JOKR
users.
Step 5: Release
With great anticipation, we launched the JOKR app on both the
App Store and Google Play, marking a significant milestone in
its development journey. By making it available on these
prominent platforms, we ensured maximum accessibility and
exposure for JOKR's on-demand delivery service. Users
could easily download the app from their respective app
stores, granting them seamless access to a wide array of
products delivered swiftly to their doorstep. This
multi-platform deployment strategy allowed us to reach and
serve a diverse user base, establishing JOKR as a trusted and
convenient delivery solution.
